You're doing good work. It's just not yet easy to find you, and when people do, you don't come across as credible, reliable and authentic as you really are. I show you where, why, and what I would change.
First, on my own time, I study your site, your channels and how you show up online, and I record you a focused video walk-through, 20 to 30 minutes, with written notes you keep. You see the exact impression a prospect forms when they land on you, and where it quietly costs you.
Then we get on a call, about an hour, and we decide together what to actually do next. The routes open to you, which one fits, and the concrete first steps. You leave with a clear plan for what to change.
Why me: I have run my own independent business online since 2004, with no employer and no institution behind me. My work is cited in more than 100 books. I do this every week as a practitioner, not as a coach selling theory.
I’m a digital communication and marketing expert.
I help experts and small firms become the go-to reference in their online niche by teaching them how to increase their credibility, authority and trust. I do this not by teaching how to publish more content, but by showing how to be more transparent, and by sharing proofs and receipts of how you think and choose.
I take an unconventional approach, prioritizing depth, focus, attention to details and smart AI use.
Inspecting, analysing and reporting what a prospect / reader / new client sees, perceives and thinks when meeting your presence online across email, web and social. Start here.
Helping you identify your ideal online positioning, best matching market niche(s) and reference audience.
Defining key topics and content formats to help you be read and appreciated by humans, ranked by Google and cited by AIs.
Differentiating your communication, through transparency, evidence, "thinking in public", and a sharing approach.
Promoting and raising awareness of your business through alternative, non-mainstream approaches to expand your audience and visibility.
Checking and analyzing results periodically to see what is working, what is not and what should be taken into consideration for the future.

From 2003 to 2014 I have been the chief editor and publisher of MasterNewMedia.org, a revenue-making, multi-language (EN, IT, ES, PT) digital magazine for communication professionals I founded.
Originally in English, it became profitable thanks to the adoption of the new Google AdSense contextual advertising platform and the diversification in multiple language editions. In one year it went from 0 revenue to more than $3,000/mo.
The evolution was made possible by partnering with a few trustable bloggers in other countries, and sharing with them 50% of their edition advertising revenue, in exchange for translating and publishing each and every article I would put on the main pub.
Over the course of a few years MasterNewMedia went on to become a leading news source for indie publishers and communication professionals and by 2008 had been able to invoice over one million dollars to Google.
Thanks to MasterNewMedia my work has been cited in over 100 books along the way, including Howard Rheingold's *Net Smart* and Jay Cross's *Informal Learning*.
*A selected set of apx 150 articles and reports has survived MasterNewMedia.org demise and it is still accessible at MasterNewMedia.com, where they have been reformatted, checked and updated.
I was born in Rome, Italy, where I attended the Liceo Classico Marco Antonio Colonna. In my free time I worked as a DJ at private parties (at first) and from 1976 at some of the very first "pirate" radio stations blooming on the FM band (Radio Hanna, RAM 102 Radio Antenna Musica, Radio Tele Magia, M100).
For some time I dreamed of becoming a modern Jacques Cousteau (oceanographer), but once I discovered the length of academic path ahead of me and I got my feet literally wet by doing a Marine Biology summer course in Bodega Bay, California, I run into the Radio, Television and Film department at San Francisco State University, and there my life took a sharp turn. Three years later I graduated with top honors (BFA) in Experimental and Interdisciplinary Arts from that same campus.
My first job - as I got back in Italy - was as an On-Air Promotion TV Producer for Canale 5 TV, basically making trailers for prime-time TV shows and films. I grew skilled at the craft and went on to produce sung themes for Mediaset’s three channels, and the opening titles for Tribuna Politica together with Piero Gratton.
I then moved to RAI’s TG2 as an information designer charged with studying and re-designing the way typography and information graphics were used inside television news.
At the end of the '80s I opened a small design boutique and gradually took on ever more ambitious projects, from technical illustration, to pure magazine ads, image synthesis, computer graphics simulation for environmental impact assessment, up to overseeing the redesign of the entire corporate identity for the Alitalia group.
After a few years, I left the image and advertising sector to work exclusively with non-profit organizations as a digital publishing advisor and trainer, creating publications, websites, and multilingual CD-ROMs on scientific and social topics, and leading workshops and seminars in developing countries.
In 2003 I started devoting myself to writing and sharing what I learn daily about communication and the digital world. Since 2004 I have earned my living solely from online activities: no more chasing clients for payment, consulting lawyers, or fighting banks.
From 2015, I have abandoned city life, cars, cement and metal to live alone on beautiful islands around the world: Terceira (PT), Holbox (MX) and now Koh Samui (TH) have been my new homes.
